What Are Dye-Sublimation Prints?

Aluminum Dye-Sublimation prints are the go to for museums and galleries for all their fine art reproductions. Chosen for their ability to present brilliant, vibrant and long-lasting colors that are resistant to fading and discoloration, the dyes used allows for greater contrast and deeper and richer colors. And they’re made right here in the USA. The benefits of this printing process are numerous, namely:

Archival Quality | Scratch Resistant | Modern Finish | Wipeable Artwork | Vibrant Colors | Lightweight and Durable | No Glazing (Acrylic or Glass) needed | Outdoor Installations OK

All our Dye Sublimation prints come in a black shadowbox ‘floating’ frame. There is nothing to do but hang it for an immediate modern and professional look.

Why Giclée Printing is the Best Choice for Photo Prints on Paper

Giclee inkjet printing is the best option for high-quality photo prints. Quality, vibrancy, and durability have made Giclee printing the industry standard among professional photographers.

With Giclée printing, archival pigment inks create richer, longer-lasting prints.

Giclee inkjet printers use specialized fine mist spray nozzles that better capture photographic details, enabling print quality that rivals museum quality. Giclee printers also use more ink colors and higher-quality, color-fast archival pigment offering a print quality that rivals museum standards. Giclee printing also uses top-tier archival photo papers that are acid-free, lignin-free, and pH-neutral, so they do not yellow or fade over time.

Better quality and longer lasting prints have made Giclée printing the industry standard.

Mounting for Giclée Prints

Each print begins its journey as a high-quality Giclée reproduction, capturing every detail with precision and vibrancy. Our Giclée prints are then meticulously mounted onto a durable, rigid board, providing a sturdy foundation that's perfect for framing or direct display.

Should You Add Borders to Your Giclée Prints?

The border is a quarter-inch, solid-colored space around the perimeter of your print. Depending on what you do with your prints will determine whether or not you choose a border.

Borders and When to Use Them

Borderless: We trim your print to size, with the image going all the way to the edge. This is a good option for ‘floating’ or ‘frameless’ frames.

Quarter-Inch or Inch Extra Border: Your image is printed to size, with an extra border added to the outside of the image. This option is perfect for when you need your prints to have extra space around the edge for frame overlap or other aesthetic or finishing purposes such as matting. For frame overlap, the quarter inch is usually sufficient. If you plan on using matting use the inch-border option.
